Ludicrously Reliable Events

“I’ve learned that the rules and assumptions of improv look a lot like Zen practice. When you are on stage you try not to do anything, you just try to notice others and see what is needed. You don’t try to say something clever or funny. You only speak when there is a need to say or do something that is responsive to the situation and that makes it easy for someone else to respond. In improv you are trained to accept all offers. Whatever comes your way, just accept it. Even if you don’t want it or like it, just accept it. You can then use the offer or transform it in any way you want.”

Marc Lesser ZBA – Zen of business administration – how Zen practice can transform your work and your life, 2005, p 220-21.

Getting your outcomes: the process

Use Ludic at your next conference or corporate event. Here's how it works.

Stage one: Logistics

  1. Contact us - email, phone, fax or good old fashioned snail mail.
  2. We'll contact you within 24 hours to acknowledge that we've received your communication, and talk a little around what you need and want.
  3. We'll schedule an appointment to come and see you or talk to you in more depth over the phone if that's necessary (15-30 minutes initially).

Stage two: We design an experience with you

  1. Based on what we discover, we'll put together an outline of what we can do for you. It will depend greatly on how much time you have, what you want to get from our work, and how much potential we see with your organisation. At this point we'll also discuss costings, terms and conditions, and bill you 50% of the total amount to secure the date. Or you can choose to pay 100% up front and take a 3% discount.
  2. We'll then choose an appropriate team and format for your workshop. Casting improvisers takes into account not only your business outcomes, but their experience levels, style of humour and ability to keep to your brief.

Stage three: The Event

Stage four: We make sure you're happy

  1. We'll call you a few days after the workshop, to find out how quickly the impact of our work is showing in your organisation. Improvising is magic, and sometimes it starts working before your event even completes!
  2. Every now and then you'll hear from us - just to see how life is moving forward, how achieving what you wanted from Ludic Creative has put you in the mood for even more business success.
